AI RECCOMENDATIONS
Game-changing tools (as of April)
Here's a look at my (constantly evolving) list of favorite tools.
The AI tool landscape is overwhelming. New products launch daily, each claiming to transform your business. Many of them have the power to revolutionize the way you work and earn money, but the secret is to know which tools to deploy and how to leverage them properly.
These are the tools I come back to again and again. They're reliable, accessible to non-technical users, and can solve real problems. I'll keep this list updated as the landscape evolves, which it really is doing at an unprecedented rate.
Perplexity
An AI-powered search engine that gives you grounded, cited answers instead of a list of links. Great for research, competitive analysis, and getting up to speed on unfamiliar topics quickly.
Best for: Research, fact-checking, competitive analysis, learning new topics
Huxe
A unique AI tool designed to give you a personalized overview of your calendar, inbox, weather, and news reports each day. Delivered through a "live podcast" format, your AI hosts talk you through live updates on your calendar, email inbox, and newsworthy updates that may affect the day ahead. You can also "join the conversation" and interject to ask the hosts questions.
Best for: Scheduling, time management, and daily news
Lovable
An AI-powered app builder that lets you create full web applications and sites through conversation. No coding required. It's even how this site was built (though, of course, I leveraged my design background for extensive prompting and led the design direction).
Best for: Web apps, landing pages, internal tools, MVPs
Claude
Excellent for longer, more nuanced writing and analysis. Tends to produce more thoughtful, less formulaic output than other assistants. My personal go-to for strategy work and content creation. I also use Claude as my personal assistant to manage my calendar and organize files.
Best for: Long-form writing, analysis, document review, strategic thinking
NotebookLM
Google's AI-powered research tool that lets you upload documents and have conversations with your own sources. Generates summaries, answers questions, and even creates audio overviews from your materials. It also allows you to create explainer videos now.
Best for: Document analysis, research synthesis, content from source materials
Fathom
AI-powered meeting assistant that records, transcribes, and summarizes your calls. Generates action items and highlights automatically. A genuine time-saver for anyone in regular meetings.
Best for: Meeting notes, client call summaries, action item tracking
